PITA Partnership
MCP Management Training is proud to announce our partnership with the Paper Industry Technical Association (PITA). To solidify the shared venture, we recently and successfully delivered our New Engineering / Manager course, the training took part remotely across two separate two-day sessions and saw a variety of delegates in participation from both the U.K. and Saudi Arabia.
Course Feedback
The review of the course was positive, some of the key delegate feedback included:
“The course is good, I believe it has changed a lot of thoughts we used to have, and looking forward to implementing what we have learned in the plants where we work.”
“Having had no real idea about the course prior, I really enjoyed it and felt like I A) learnt a lot and B) strengthened my knowledge in areas I already had familiarity with.”
Experienced Trainer
With over 30 years experience in the field, Richard Fathers is one of MCP’s most knowledgeable trainers, the delegates could undoubtedly recognize this and had the following feedback:
“Very good knowledge and skills in explaining things and making it very simple, that’s really a talent that I hope I could have or learn.”
“Trainer offers multiple opportunities for attendants to give feedback on course content as well as having a vast knowledge of the course given.”
“Richard clearly has a lot of experience and shows that through clear, digestible and confident delivery of the material.”
Increased knowledge
As part of the course, we administer a pre and post-exam to measure and benchmark delegate knowledge, in the below chart we can see that post-course skill has increased to almost double.
About the New Engineering Manager/Supervisor Course
The New Engineering Manager/Supervisor enables delegates to lead a World-Class maintenance department. The result is improved staff motivation, lower employee turnover, increased output, and reduced waste of resources. Too often, the person with the best technical skills gets promoted to be the new Engineer Manager or Supervisor. Those practical skills which served the technician well are now redundant and supervisory skills need to be nurtured.
This course is ideal for people new to the role of an Engineering Manager or Supervisor. It equips delegates with a good introductory knowledge of the expectations and requirements of the New Engineering Manager/Supervisor role.
The Future
We look forward to the shared delivery and collaboration delivery of future courses.
